Emotional sickness makes it challenging for a person to even get up from the bed, the reason is continuous feeling of dizziness or tiredness, which is a result of mental drainage. In this condition the mind of a person loses more calories than the body, due to which feeling of illness and mental exhaustion prevails. Hopelessness is a feeling of despair or lack of hope that life can be better. Therefore, if a person has the feeling of hopelessness, then he/she should practice speaking positive, this has a psychological reason as whatever the person says from inner self the same message is transferred to our mind and accordingly the mind creates its thoughts. Another sign of emotional suffering is the feeling of guilt. In this situation a person blames self for every wrong in life, even if he/she is not responsible for it. The feeling of guilt gives birth to helplessness as it is a self-conscious emotion that involves negative evaluations of the self. In this situation performing self-care and practicing self-love is of great help, one should always be proud of their decision, even if they go wrong because as humans, we are entitled to make mistakes.

This feeling usually occurs when a person is not in a state to explain inner feelings and circumstances so he/she simply makes a distance or starts to avoid the people around them. Another potential reason for this is thinking that nobody is capable of understanding their situation. For such people it is necessary to create an open environment where they feel light to express what they are going through. Sometimes, only listening is of great help as people look to pour their heart out, they just need the right person to listen.
4. Anxiety and fear-
Emotional trauma can lead you to upsetting emotions, memories, anxiety and fear. This is caused by continuously pondering about the same stressful event that left you shattered. Anxiety can result in poor performance at work, struggling to handle relationships, and inculcating self-doubts. An anxious person is always underconfident and struggle to express, this happens when the mind of a person is unstable and is trapped around millions of thoughts at once. Therefore, if a person is suffering from anxiety, he /she naturally develops the feeling of fear also. It is essential to relax the mind in this condition, for which light physical exercise, yoga and meditation are of great help if consistently followed, all these regulates positive energy in the body and release the feeling of fear and anxiety.
5. Neglecting self-care-
A person going through emotional damage often forgets about selfcare. This is also known as self-neglect in which a person neglects carrying out basic activities of eating, sleeping and hygiene. This affects a person’s organizational skills, energy level, attention and motivation, which affects several different aspects of life negatively. When you show lack of self-care you get sick often, have feeling of isolation and experience increased moodiness. Hence, in order to recover from emotional suffering, self-care is a primary step. Once you start to self-care you start appreciating everything about you. You see your strengths and work on weaknesses. Self-care is a great way to develop motivation in life, when a person does self-care, he/she feels confident about self and is ready to face anything in life. Therefore, it is essential to take time for self-care every day.
