Director: David Schwimmer

Country: USA

Year: 2010

Directed by David Schwimmer (Ross from Friends) and starring Clive Owen, Catherine Keener and Liana Liberato who was brilliant in this film. The film is basically about a teenage girl who has a very promising life and lives with the perfect family,¬†who befirneds a guy she doesn’t know through online chatting. The relation between her and him is tested by whether she trusts him or not and if she should!

Things take diffirent turns in the film and many important issues are dealt with in this very serious and educational film. How the relation between the girl and her parents get affected, how her own life might change upside down suddenly by a simple and innocent mistake, in addition to tackling the issue of what is the proper way to deal with things related to this topic when things go wrong.

The acting in this film takes it to another level. A very superb acting by all of the actors in this movie, whether they have small and big roles in it. The subject matter is very serious and important especially with the increasing popularity of the social networking sites and the lack of proper adult monitoring.

This is one of the best films I have seen in this year. It would be a shame if this film doesn’t get the recognition it deserves just because it won’t be a money-maker for the big studios. The story, eventhough is fictional, is very realistic and happens in many parts of the world. The acting is superb, and direction isn’t distracting. All I got to say at the end is that this is a MUST watch film.
